Performing in The Netherlands (Belanda)

For 10 years Sanggar Mirah has performed at countless of events throughout The Netherlands. From small local events to bigger ones like the Tong Tong Fair, the biggest Eurasian fair in the world. Since the move to BSD, Sanggar Mirah is still in close contacts with dutch based dancegroups and foundations such as Dwibhumi, Peduli Seni Indonesia and Madaloka dansschool and open for collaboration in The Netherlands.

If you and/or your child always wanted to go travel to Europe and nevertheless the rare opportunity to perform abroad and spreading the rich Indonesian culture, keep reading!

Currently for the first half of 2018 Sanggar Mirah BSD is in negotiation for two performance opportunities during the high season

This is an example itinerary (subject to change)

26 March 2018- 4 april

26 departure CGK

27 arrival AMS – go to accommodation (bungalow)

28 – 29 – 30 in the morning and afternoon time for day out trips to Keukenhof (flowerfields), Volendam (traditional costume photo taking in fishing village), Zaanse Schans (windmills) Amsterdam (capital city) & Den Haag

In the evening there will be dance practice together with local dancegroups.

31 – 1-2 performances at pasar malam

3 departure AMS

4 april arrival CGK

DISCLAIMER: Flight, accommodation, visa, insurance etc. will be at your own costs. However, Sanggar Mirah BSD will accommodate with all of the travel needs such as Invitation letter for applying VISA, good flight deal, accommodation in the Netherlands, meals etc.

 

Certainly, when you choose to stay in Indonesia there will be a couple of performances throughout the year. Costumes can be rented or bought to keep for yourself for future performances.
